Methods

In SCOPTI Management Consulting we apply a vast number of methods to support the projects we carry through for our clients. We adapt validated methods or tailor new methods to our clients’ situations and challenges or, if required, apply the methods developed by the client.

Normally we base our solutions and projects on the four-step SCOPTI method named CAOS, which is short for:

  1. Clarify: Involves the pre-project tasks of defining & scoping the project, initial analysis, defining success criteria, defining the project organization, and planning the project.
  2. Analyse: Involves quantitative and qualitative data gathering and validation, data analysis, assessment of opportunities and challenges etc.
  3. Optimize: Involves visioning, designing and validating the roadmap and changes needed to solve challenges and take the client one step closer to an optimized supply chain; and the implementation of changes.
  4. Sustain: Involves training of employees, establishing the learning organization, anchoring benefit realization etc., to ensure that changes are sustained.

 

These four phases frame the projects we carry through, and supported by the enablers of project and performance management we ensure that goals and intermediate aims are reached on time and in full.
